Road traffic on the roads toward Mashad is always very heavy because of existence of Imam Reza Shrine and other Pilgrimage and tourist attractions . This will result in wasting time and increase road incidents as well . This highway is the first highway constructed in Khorasan Razavi Province which shall have prominent role in facilitating transportation and decreasing road traffic on the said region .
